Janai Purnima or Rakshya Bandan is the sacred festival of Hindu people specially celebrated by brahmin and chhetri men by changing the sacred janai and putting the sacred thread around their wrist. The festival generally falls on full moon day sometime in Shrawan month and sometime in Bhadra.
